What is your Favorite Ambassadors Memory?

Too many to list. Boston conference and our NYC trip is near the top of that list. I was also both honored and fortunate to receive the Fred and Priscilla Robinette Scholarship in back-to-back years, and I appreciated the opportunity to represent our university.

Has Ambassadors benefited you post-graduation?

Immensely. I owe my entire career trajectory to the fact that I was an Ambassador. It introduced me to the world of higher education and paved the way for me receiving my Ph.D. and creating my own business where I help guide students and families into post-secondary institutions across the country. None of this would have been possible without my experience as an Ambassador. I have many lifelong friends who were my fellow Ambassadors and it's just a really great group that has done so much for me, both personally and professionally.

What would you say to a student considering applying to be an Ambassador?

If you're truly passionate about Appalachian and giving back to the university community, you should definitely consider this opportunity of serving as an Ambassador.
