CASE ASAP Conference in Louisville, Kentucky
A few weeks ago, our organization sent delegates to Louisville, Kentucky to represent our organization at the CASE ASAP Conference.
The purpose of CASE ASAP is to network with other colleges and universities on the various ways that they run their Alumni Associations, Advancements departments and Ambassador programs. By providing a space where organizations like ours can present to others allows for growth and inspiration to every group that attends.
"Being able to ask questions about other organizations is always so exciting as an University Representative because every aspect of Ambassadors is a learning process. For me, the highlight of this conference is definitely attending the sessions that other organizations have to offer. I am able to get valuable information that I can bring back to our organization, but we are able to tweak it and make it our own, and create new events, programs and opportunities that will benefit not only our group, but the University as a whole." - Maya Hood, Ambassador Class of 2017
Victoria Anderson and Tanner McGuire presented together at the conference highlighting the Ambassadors 40th reunion and the organization's traditions that have transcended all 40 years. Tanner McGuire, Ambassador Class of 2017, said "It was humbling to hear how much other schools look up to Appalachian and especially how much they take from our presentations. Our organization is a special culmination of leaders, who not only love our university, but also love each other. Conferences are a time to remember this and to realize how lucky we are to be a part of such a special organization."
