The Appalachian Student Ambassador Membership Drive takes place each spring semester. The application process includes an online application (typically opens late December or early January) and a series of interactions and interviews in February. Please refer back to this page or follow us on Instagram (@appambassadors) for this year’s dates.

This organization provides students with the opportunity to serve their university, grow their network and receive professional development. Ambassadors are not paid. However, there are several benefits outside of monetary compensation. Ambassadors are eligible for various scholarships through the organization, are granted priority registration for classes, perks at Commencement and are given the opportunity to purchase a Graduate Assistant parking pass not normally available to undergraduate students. Ambassadors also have access to our vast Appalachian Student Ambassador alumni network, and they constantly interact with university and UNC officials.
